Remote Assistance

 

Optima now offers our remote access services to our customers.  When you bring your machine in for service, we will happily add our automated remote access icon to your desktop.  This shortcut will allow you to have immediate access to Optima's online assistance without the need of downloading software.  This will not allow us to access your computer without your permission.  Optima is not able to initiate a session. 

 

Just double click on the desktop icon, fill in the blanks and then give us a call.  We will then open a channel on our end and ask you to click the connect button.  Someone must be present at your computer to grant an Optima technician access.

 

What Services can be Completed? 

 

Optima can perform many regular maintenance items such as:

  • We can add or delete software

  • We can run updates or add software patches

  • We can clean up your hard drive

  • We can defragment your hard drive

In addition, we can work with you interactively to:

  • Create or edit documents with your existing software

  • Set up email accounts in your Outlook or Outlook Express

  • Help you solve other software issues
